CFB Esquimalt Naval & Military Museum is located at Naden on Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, in the city of Victoria, which is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, province of British Columbia, Canada.
The museum's goal is to collect, preserve, interpret and display the history and heritage of the naval presence on Canada’s West Coast and of the military on Southern Vancouver Island.

July 5, 1950 - HMC Ships Cayuga, Sioux and Athabaskan sail from Esquimalt with instructions to place themselves under the orders of the United Nations Supreme commander for operations in Korean waters (Korean War, 1950-1953). Each of the three ships does three tours of duty in Korean waters, with Sioux returning last, in 1955.
Ferdinand "Waldo" Demara, who earned the infamous nickname ‘The Great Impostor’, joined Cayuga for her second tour of duty.
