Wanted a ship name & possible dates for the photograph.
Identified as HMS Vindictive, Cavendish (Hawkins) class 3 Light Cruiser. Dated pre-1937, perhaps circa July 1930 (the aircraft hanger forward of the bridge where "D" gun should be).

Dated to 1938 or early 1939 (after major reconstruction, aircraft hanger, athwartship catapult, modern DCT, & possible Spanish Neutrality Patrol markings on "A" & "X" turrets).

Revenge.
Wanted possible dates for the photograph. All responders agreed that ship was incorrect identified.
Appears to be photograph of HMS Queen Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth Class battleship) taken between 1926/1927 refit & 1937-1940 reconstruction - lower bridge platform going around bridge structure.
Other indicators include funnel having more mass than 'R' class (Revenge) & the searchlight platform on after end of funnel.

Nabob sailor's album).
Wanted a ship name & possible dates for the photograph.
Identified as HMS Offa, 'O' class destroyer taken in 1944 or 1945. Indicators are mk XVIII 4.7 gun mounts, lattice mast, & narrow after deckhouse.

Identified as HMCS Cayuga (Tribal class destroyer) in the late 40’s. Indicators include 4 twin 4" mountings & single 2 Pdr quad Pom Pom.
