"The mascot at HMCS TECUMSEH, Calgary Division, doesn't seem to be too happy about the New Year. Maybe the meat rationing cut down on the size of his Christmas present this year. Anyway, we don't see why he's so unhappy. It isn't everyone who can have his picture twice in the same edition of this most esteemed sheet and he's done it, even if one of the pictures is in an advertisement."
